Mark Haverland Owner/Trainer
Mark has had a passion for dogs since he was a teenager working with the family pet and other family members’ dogs. Mark has had dogs most of his adult life and always trained them to their highest potential. Mark is a combat veteran of the first Gulf War and after leaving the military he became a police officer. During his career, he had the opportunity and privilege of becoming the K9 Handler for his department where he had Trass, a dual purpose (patrol and narcotics) German Shepherd, and this is where he found his true passion. Never one to just be average, Mark worked tirelessly to have the best K9 Team in the area, and if you ask him, he will tell you that he did it! After separating from his agency, he continued working with protection dogs as a hobby. Mark completed an Apprentice Trainer program where he had the opportunity to work with numerous breeds of dogs from very young to seniors on a daily basis. He enjoys seeing the results of the work that he puts into your K9 friend and you will often hear him say that training not only sets the dog, but also the family up for success.
Ronni Haverland Owner, Office manager
Ronni has had dogs and cats as pets throughout her lifetime. Ronni attended basic obedience classes with 2 of her dogs where she realized that a dog with manners is good for the family, both four legged and two legged members. Ronni has attended many training classes with Mark and their service animal, Zeus. As a proud wife, Mom and Gigi, former small business owner, a teacher with special needs education experience and Realtor, Ronni is a natural multi-tasker who is passionate about helping your four-legged friend be the best they can be. For Ronni, every session is a chance to make a difference in the life and wellbeing of dogs and their owners. Ronni understands that dog training can be stressful and frustrating. That's why she approaches each session with patience, positivity and a team-player attitude, ensuring that every step of the way is organized
and effective.
